This policy explains what information Portalworks collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve written it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us.

Who we are

Portalworks (“we,” “us”) builds custom B2B customer ordering portals. This website, portalworks.tech, is operated by Red Moon Media, LLC. You can reach us using the contact form on our homepage.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, company (optional), company website (optional), work email address, and your message. That’s it — we don’t ask for more than we need to respond to you.

Information collected automatically. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. If you accept analytics cookies (see below), we also collect anonymized usage data about how visitors use the site.

How we use your information

• To respond to you. Form submissions are delivered by email to our business inbox so a real person can reply. That is their only purpose.
• To operate and improve the site. Server logs help us keep the site secure and working; analytics (only if you accept) help us understand which pages are useful.

We do not sell your personal information, share it with data brokers, add you to marketing lists you didn’t ask for, or use it for advertising. Submitting our contact form gets you a reply from a person — not a drip campaign.

Cookies

This site uses at most two kinds of cookies:

• Consent cookie (strictly necessary). A first-party cookie named pw_consent that remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. It stores only that choice, and expires after 180 days.
• Analytics cookies (optional). Only if you click “Accept analytics” on our cookie notice, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage with IP anonymization enabled. If you click “Reject” — or ignore the notice — no analytics load at all, and the site works identically.

To change a previous choice, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and the notice will appear again on your next visit.

Third-party services

• Hosting. This site is hosted by Kinsta, whose servers process standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site.
• Fonts. We load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers when the page loads.
• Analytics. Google Analytics, only with your consent, as described above.
• Scheduling. If you choose to book a call through our scheduling link, that booking happens on the scheduling provider’s site under their privacy policy.

How long we keep information

Contact form submissions live in our business email for as long as we’re corresponding with you or reasonably expect to, after which they’re deleted in the normal course of inbox management. Analytics data, if enabled, is retained per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. We honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction: contact us through the site form, tell us what you’d like, and we’ll respond promptly. If you’re in the European Economic Area or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we add tools or change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
